No Data Corruption & Data Integrity
Find out what ‘No Data Corruption & Data Integrity’ suggests for the info in your hosting account.
Data corruption is the damage of info because of various hardware or software problems. The moment a file gets damaged, it will no longer work correctly, so an app will not start or shall give errors, a text file can be partially or fully unreadable, an archive file will be impossible to open and then unpack, etc. Silent data corruption is the process of data getting harmed without any identification by the system or an admin, that makes it a serious problem for hosting servers as problems are much more likely to occur on larger in size hard disks where significant volumes of info are kept. In case a drive is part of a RAID and the data on it is duplicated on other drives for redundancy, it's more than likely that the bad file will be treated as a good one and it will be duplicated on all of the drives, making the damage permanent. A lot of the file systems which operate on web servers today often are not able to locate corrupted files in real time or they need time-consuming system checks through which the server isn't working.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Web Hosting
If you host your websites in a
cloud web hosting account from our company, you won't have to worry about your data ever getting corrupted. We can guarantee that due to the fact that our cloud hosting platform employs the cutting-edge ZFS file system. The latter is the only file system which works with checksums, or unique digital fingerprints, for each file. All the info that you upload will be stored in a RAID i.e. simultaneously on many NVMes. All the file systems synchronize the files between the different drives with such a setup, but there is no real warranty that a file will not get corrupted. This could happen during the writing process on any drive and after that a damaged copy may be copied on the other drives. What is different on our platform is the fact that ZFS analyzes the checksums of all files on all of the drives instantly and in the event that a corrupted file is identified, it's replaced with a good copy with the correct checksum from some other drive. This way, your information will continue to be intact no matter what, even if a whole drive fails.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you purchase one of our
semi-dedicated server solutions, you won't have to worry about silent file corruption because we use ZFS - a high level file system which monitors all of the files in real time. Every time you upload a file to your hosting account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. This file will be synced between a number of NVMe drives for redundancy, so if a drive fails, the other ones will take over. ZFS compares the checksum of all copies on the different drives and in case it detects a damaged copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from a different drive. This happens immediately, so there will be no risk for any part of your content at any moment. In comparison, all of the other file systems execute checks after a system failure, but since they do not use anything similar to the checksums which ZFS uses, they cannot detect silently corrupted files, so a bad copy could be replicated on the rest of the disks as well and you can lose crucial info. Since this is not the case with ZFS, we are able to warrant the integrity of every single file you upload no matter what.
