Catch-all Emails
Do you need to make a catch-all email account? What exactly is a catch-all mailbox?
A catch-all email mailbox receives email messages sent to nonexistent addresses under the exact same domain name. For instance, a message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can get emails from buddies or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. The latter is due to the fact that at some moment you may start receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction implies that the spam will not be sent to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Web Hosting
If you’ve got a
cloud web hosting with our company and you want to enable the catch-all option for a specific e-mailbox that you have in the web hosting account, it will take literally just one single click in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel to do that. A catch-all button is available on the right side of each email address that you have set up under any domain registered in your account. You can select one single address per domain name by clicking on the corresponding button. This will activate the feature immediately, so all emails sent to misspelled email addresses will be delivered there. Clicking on the button again will deactivate the catch-all feature. If you have active email forwarding, our system will display a warning message and you won’t be able to activate the catch-all feature till you disable the forwarding or you can simply pick another mailbox to be the catch-all one.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
The catch-all option can be activated with ease in case you’ve got a
semi-dedicated server account with us. All the email addresses that you’ve set up using the domain names hosted in the account will be shown in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and you will find a mini symbol conveniently situated directly next to each one of them. With only one single click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with the option already activated and there isn't activated email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable this option using the menu that will surface. If any of the preconditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not satisfied, our system will let you know, but will not replace or disable anything automatically.
